In the Spring 2021, and subsequently in January 2022, the guarantee measurement of refurbished unit TG1 at HPP Slapy was performed. The unit was testes at four different heads, water flow was measured by Gibson method.

In addition to the determination of the turbine efficiency, significant dynamic parameters of the unit such as relative and absolute vibrations, pressure pulsations, noise and cavitation emissions, etc. were evaluated in cooperation with Litostroj Engineering, a.s., including comparison with the same parameters of the unit before refurbishment.

The measurements showed that all guaranteed values of turbine efficiency, maximum output and other verified parameters were achieved. An optimal ON-CAM was also designed to ensure effective utilization of the hydropower potential processed by the unit TG1.
