Today, the oldest part of our workshop equipment - the MN80 lathe - has been again commissioned. The lathe is almost seventy years old and not everyone understand such a device - that's why the repair was demanding in organizational terms. But in the workshop they swear by it, and his repair made more sense than buying a new machine.

The MN80 lathe is designed for fine mechanics. It was made by the TOS (Machine tool Factory), but if the one we own was manufactured directly at the TOS Čelákovice or in a factory formerly owned by Wagner Josef and Co., Olomouc, as well as the exact year of production, these are questions that we probably will never get the answer to.
