On 3rd of October 2024 the OSC Company carried out measurement of piston axial force at refurbished turbine runner of the unit TG1 HPP Trenčín (runner diameter  3 791 mm, 4 blades, owner Slovenské elektrárně, a.s.).

The measurement was performed in the workshop of supplier (Mavel, a.s. Company) with attendance of the runner owner's representatives.

The result showed in comparison to status before refurbishment the significant reduction of axial force (up to 24 %) and the smooth move of blades without any oscillations. Due to these facts the refurbishment of runner can be considered as very successful.
