On 19th of July 2022 the OSC Company performed measurement of piston axial force at turbine runner ofthe unit TG1 HPP Lipovec (runner diameter  3 614 mm, 4 blades), owner Slovenské elektrárně, a.s.).

The measurement was carried out in the workshop of supplier (EXMONT-Energo, a.s. Company) before runner refurbishment initiation. This approach resulted in time and cost savings compared to measuring at the power plant.

The result will be used (together with the result of the same measurement after the refurbishment) as one of the bases for the success-rate assessment of runner’s renovation.
