Site tests of 325 MW unit at PSHP Dlouhé Stráně, Czech Republic
Final report with the efficiency measurement results of the unit TG2 Dlouhé Stráně before the runner upgrade was submitted On May 21 to the contractor. The 325 MW unit has been in operation since 1996. It is equipped with a reversible Francis turbine and operates with a head 495 ÷ 550 m. The power plant with two identical units is one of the key elements for the control of the Czech power system. Measurement was carried out using pressure-time flow measurement (Gibson method) because the conditions for the thermodynamic method are not suitable here, and the pressure-time here also achieves excellent precision.
